Arts fun day returns to Queens Park arena
To be staged on Saturday, August 5, from noon till 5pm, the free family entertainment spans everything from music and dance to the chance to sample foods from around the world, crafts workshops and more.
The last Shindig was two years ago, and the organisers aim to make up for the missing year by making this one a day out to remember.

Hide AdThe music programme features The Butler Did It, Abhinaya Dance Group, Desi Bravehearts, Howlin’ Radio, E KarikaDjal, Fidhol and Mooki.
The Mela features acts like Fidhol, Bollywood Dancers and Desi Bravehearts. as well as a drop-in music school, while Art Soundscape will involve the creation of fantastic abstract expressions on canvas.
You can try one of many other arts and crafts activities – making butterfly badges, fairy doors, tree mobiles or decorating your own tote bag- or join in Rags to Riches imaginatively recycling materials.
