Investigations continue after car crashes into garden
Two men were seriously injured after the accident around 4.45am on Tuesday, February 2, on a bend at Glasgow Road, Kirkintilloch.
The 21-year-old passenger and 26-year-old driver of the Vauxhall Corsa were both taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to receive treatment for serious injuries. The driver was later transferred to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Both remain in a serious but stable condition.

Hide AdAnother passenger, an 18-year-old woman, was treated at the scene.
The A803 Glasgow Road near the Stables was shut for seven hours after the accident, causing disruption for commuters.
Police Sergeant Stuart Bell said: “Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to get in touch.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact police at the Road Policing Complex at Govan on 101.”
